On July 20, the grocery chain issued a recall of its Soft-Baked Snickerdoodles due to the potential presence of hard plastic pieces.
The cookies bear the SKU number 94075 and a "Best By" date of 2/02/2023.
The snickerdoodles are part of a larger recall issued by Enjoy Life Natural Brands on June 30.
The allergy-friendly food brand recalled multiple baked snack products, including soft-baked cookies, chewy bars, breakfast ovals, and brownie bites.
Although no injuries have been reported, Trader Joe's urges any customers who still have the cookies to throw them away or return them to any store location for a full refund.
Trader Joe's Customer Relations is available Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time to answer inquiries regarding the recall.
